SDEA Joins Data Centre Expo Europe 2026 as Media Partner
SDEA is a media partner of Data Centre Expo Europe, part of TechEx Europe 2026, at the RAI Amsterdam on October 19-20. SDEA President Babak Falsafi chairs one of the conference tracks, and Executive Director Matthias Haymoz speaks on two panels – both on the constraints, energy, water, and power, now shaping where and how data centers get built.

Data Centre Expo Europe sits within TechEx Europe 2026, a set of co-located enterprise technology events. It draws data center directors, infrastructure leaders, and cloud and colocation strategists, with more than 250 speakers across two days. The program runs on two tracks: Green Investment, Digital Innovation & Physical Infrastructure on day one, and Data Centre Services, Ecosystems & Business Models on day two.
The themes are the ones defining the European market right now: scaling for AI and high-density workloads, managing power availability and efficiency, and building facilities that can adapt as demand shifts.

Both of SDEA's panel slots go to the constraint that keeps resurfacing – resources. Energy and water are two of the four dimensions SDEA measures, and both are moving from a background concern to the factor that decides whether a project gets a grid connection or a permit. That is the ground SDEA works on: turning those pressures into measured, audited numbers rather than claims.
