SDEA Shortlisted for the 2026 World Sustainability Awards

SDEA is one of nine finalists in the Digital Provider category at the 2026 World Sustainability Awards. The category recognizes organizations using data, AI, or software to help others meet measurable sustainability goals. Winners will be announced on October 22 at The Garden of Amsterdam.

The recognition sits close to how SDEA describes its own work. The SDEA Navigator and Label were built on a plain idea: that operators should be able to present verified evidence rather than assertions – twelve months of independently audited data across facility efficiency, IT efficiency, carbon, and water. It isn't glamorous work. It's measurement, audits, and precise conversations about what the numbers actually say.
Why the Panel Matters
What gives the shortlist its weight is who assembled it. The World Sustainability Awards are judged by chief sustainability officers and senior sustainability executives, people whose job is to tell the difference between measured impact and polished storytelling. Being recognized by that audience, rather than by the industry SDEA certifies, is the part worth noting.
The result on October 22 is secondary. For a small organization making the case that verified measurement should be the standard, a place on this shortlist is its own signal that the argument is landing.
