The SDEA Label placed second in the "Outstanding Contribution to Sustainability and Efficiency" category, continuing a year of industry recognition for measurement-based datacenter sustainability.

The SDEA Label has been named runner-up in the "Outstanding Contribution to Sustainability and Efficiency" category at the DCS Awards 2026.
This marks SDEA's fourth major industry recognition in the past 12 months. Combined with the DCW Award win for the SDEA Navigator earlier this year, the results suggest growing industry interest in approaches that prioritize measured operational data over design values and self-declaration.
Measured and Verified
The SDEA Label covers four dimensions – infrastructure efficiency, IT efficiency, carbon footprint, and water usage – each of which can be certified independently based on 12 months of verified operational data and third-party audits. It remains the only datacenter certification globally that covers all four areas based entirely on measured performance.
SDEA thanks everyone who voted; and congratulations to all the winners across this year's categories.
