The SDEA Navigator is a unique online tool designed to precisely measure the operational efficiency and sustainability of datacenters and IT infrastructures. It allows to measure the end-to-end energy flow within a datacenter; from ingress energy, PUE, and heat recycling to the utilization of servers, storage, and network, and the operational carbon footprint.
The Navigator combines widely recognized industry standards such as EN 50600 and ISO/IEC 30134 into a single platform, helping datacenters not only meet, but exceed industry standards for efficiency and sustainability.
The SDEA Navigator provides a comprehensive, full-stack assessment of your DC’s efficiency and environmental impact through three specialized calculators that can be used individually or combined as an integrated index, offering flexibility to focus on specific areas or gain a complete overview of your efficiency.:
DC Infrastructure Efficiency: An enhanced PUE calculator that includes options for heat recovery or on-premise renewables.
IT Infrastructure Efficiency: Measures the utilization of servers, storage, and network – and also considers factors like technology excellence and operating temperature classification.
Carbon Footprint: An enhanced CUE calculator that includes life-cycle emissions of ingress energy to calculate the operational emissions.
Together, these calculators provide a comprehensive overview of your DC’s sustainability, enabling you to enhance efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
