DCW Awards 2026

SDEA has been shortlisted for the Data Centre World Awards 2026 in the category "Special Contribution to Improving Energy Efficiency." This nomination marks SDEA's third major industry recognition within a year, following nominations for the DCS Awards and the Global Connectivity Award in 2025.

The Data Centre World Awards recognize innovation and leadership across the datacenter industry, with organizers noting that this year saw "an exceptionally high standard and volume of entries." SDEA's shortlisting reflects growing industry recognition that verified performance data – not marketing claims – must define datacenter sustainability standards. Winners will be announced live at 4pm in the Awards Arena at Data Centre World London on March 4-5.

The nomination recognizes SDEA's work in establishing measurement-based certification standards that require 12 months of verified operational data rather than design projections or self-declared metrics. This "proves, not claims" philosophy has positioned SDEA as the certification framework that distinguishes genuine operational excellence from marketing claims – creating value precisely through its rigor and independence.
